Vestibular Rehabilitation
Dizziness, vertigo, loss of balance and/or equilibrium and motion sensitivity are all very common complaints. In fact, they are the 2nd most common compliant to doctors behind low back pain. But did you know that these problems can be successfully treated with vestibular physical therapy? One common compliant of dizziness, Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo, can be successfully treated with a couple of visits!
The systems in your body that work to coordinate your balance are highly integrated and when one system is not functioning it will disrupt your balance. Blue Valley Physical Therapy will evaluate all these systems to come up with a plan to improve your balance and decrease your risk of falling.
- If you are afraid of falling.
- If you get dizzy with changes in head motions such as rolling over in bed or looking up/down.
- If you get motion sickness.
- If you are unsure of yourself while walking in the dark or on uneven surfaces.
- If you feel that while walking you are constantly being pulled to one side.
BVPT will try to help you. Please call 913-897-1100 for your vestibular evaluation.

To my family doctor:
I want to thank you for sending me to such a great office of people. I have been to other therapy offices for other situations, and none of them even come close to the Blue Valley Physical Therapy employees. They are a great group of professional and very caring. I want them to know how much I appreciate all their help in treating me. I know I am on the road to recovery.
