The BVPT Team
Jennifer Guhde, DPT | Physical Therapist
I have been working as a licensed PT for BVPT since December of 2009, but I spent almost a year working as a PT tech for BVPT while I finished my schooling. It was then that I discovered what a great company this is and how well they treat their patients so I decided to join the team shortly after graduation. I enjoy working with a variety of patients and diagnoses. My ultimate goal as a physical therapist is to evaluate each patient as an individual and treat their specific impairments to return them to the highest possible functional level. I aim to correct the reason for the problem, not just the problem. My favorite part of being a physical therapist is spending quality time and building meaningful relationships with my patients.
When I’m not working I enjoy hiking, knitting and crocheting, watching movies, and spending time with my husband and friends.
My Education

- 2009: DPT from the University of Kansas Medical Center

Success Stories
So, if you are inquiring or looking for the best physical therapy unit in the Kansas City area, I can truly recommend Blue Valley Physical Therapy. The greatest compliment I heard over and over from other patients was that they did not want to leave or end their therapy. That shows you how much the therapists make you feel a part of their family. - Brian
